My Self- Reflection

My Self- Reflection

I volunteerd at SHIKH KHALIFA MEDICAL CENTER and most people who volunteer in hospital simply want to help other people, but being a volunteer can help me too. For example, volunteering in a hospital is a good way to gain experience if i interested in a career in healthcare.

I am trying to build friendships everywhere visit it , unless I am thinking about volunteering at any point of the government departments or hospitals or even volunteer centers and the virginal is short  time. I've been able to volunteer at the hospital in order to increase confidence in myself and learn methods of dealing with others , and I know that one day i have judged that I kind of balance. But until this moment I continue what I'm doing. I'm sure I will when I can come a day where I have to spend that I do in my free time work benefited him and reportedly others , but I know very well that I will not stop for the entire day doing what I'm doing.

My experience was at first a sense of the kind of boredom, but I realized that when I am doing the work rendered back to me and the community benefit and interest rates. I loved it so much and it was a condition of volunteering is that completed at least 15 hours but I am surprised by that Khalifa Hospital has a width that is a complete 50 hours. So I decided to volunteer and more than my experience in this area even volunteering benefited from this at the moment and the future. Now, I can say thank teachers to plant this wonderful initiative in the hearts of the students, and how to take advantage of the free time work for the benefit and interest rates.

VOLUNTEERING IN KALIFA MEDICAL CITY PROJECT FOR MOHAMED ABED ALMUSABI H00025904 (( THIRD DAY )) ON 27/APRIL/2014

HOW VOLUNTEERING IN HOSPITAL AND WHAT WE LEARN AND BENEFITS.

A hospital can be a scary place when we're the one who's sick. But when we aren't sick, we can volunteer at a hospital and bring others much-needed hope and happiness. Nothing feels as good as a warm smile or calming conversation when we're ill. I can give that kind encouragement and support to people of all ages when I give my time to a local hospital. I'll be brightening someone's day -- and my turn.

Many hospitals offer volunteer programs according to age. At Children's Hospital in KHLIFA MIDICAL CITY  in ABU DHBI, there are programs for adults, college students, teenagers and children. The hospital also offers one-time volunteering jobs and opportunities to volunteer in specific neighborhoods. I can also work within groups . If i want to give back but don't think i can commit to a schedule, I can also volunteer by donating books, money or other items to hospitals.
I learned about hospital volunteer requirements and training, volunteering duties, and the benefits of giving me time or donations through hospital volunteerism. Read on to learn about the kinds of tasks volunteers can perform at hospitals.

The benefits of volunteering in a hospital

Most people who volunteer in hospitals simply want to help other people, but being a volunteer can help me too. For example, volunteering in a hospital is a good way to gain experience if we’re interested in a career in healthcare. People who volunteer can find it boosts their confidence.

Types of volunteering roles in hospitals

There are many roles open to volunteers in hospitals. Some roles involve working with hospital staff, while others involve spending time with patients. For example, you might help staff with administrative tasks, or you might sit with a patient during an eye operation. Often volunteers spend time talking to patients who don’t have friends or family members to visit them.
It is up to you how much time you spend volunteering each week or month. However, individual trusts may ask you to commit to volunteering for a certain period of time, for example six months. Normally, volunteers are asked to be available at the same time each week or month. This allows the hospital staff to know in advance how much help they will have each day.
